By creating an account or calling the ScrapeIO API you agree to these terms.
Your account
Keep your API keys secret; you are responsible for calls made with them. One person or company per account. Free credits are for trying the service, once per person.
Acceptable use
- Follow the laws that apply to you, including privacy and data protection laws, when you collect, store or use data from the API.
- Do not use the API to harass, stalk, spam or discriminate against anyone, or to build profiles of people for those purposes.
- Do not try to break, overload or get around the limits of the service, or resell raw access to your keys.
We may suspend keys or accounts that break these rules.
Credits and payment
Each endpoint lists its price in credits. Credits do not expire. Failed calls, private or not-found answers, and cached repeats are not charged. Purchases are final, except where the law requires a refund; if something went wrong with a charge, write to us and we will make it right.
The service
The API depends on third-party platforms that can change without notice, so endpoints can slow down, change shape or stop working. We provide the service as is, without warranties, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Changes and ending
We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version, and we will email you about significant changes. You can stop using the service at any time.
